I've been repeatedly listening to a podcast called 'Make stuff', by Rob and Kirby Kaple. They're a married couple and Rob recently published a book called Wind Words which I haven't read but his podcasts with the same title as the book are so good. Check it out

Listening to 'Make stuff' part 1 and 2 has stirred up a passion to Just Do It...(shoutout to Nike). There are dreams I have but don't get around to chasing because they seem like mountains I don't want to climb to reach what I really want e.g. this blog :p The thing is, I really want to work on this blog but I stop working on it with thoughts that I shouldn't want it. I've also believed the lie that my dreams aren't valid. In case you've believed the same lies, soak in the truth of God's word and have a listen to the podcasts, they'll stir you up to chase the God dreams you have.

What I've learned from the podcasts:

1. "You have the power to build the life you imagine. What is the life you imagine? What is the thing in your heart to do? You might think it is selfish to run for that right now but it actually is the most selfless thing you can do, it's a benevolent creativity. Art isn't fully art until it is given away, do the thing in your heart to do, freely give it away and liberate yourself from the lie that is is selfish!"-Kirby Kaple (singer in Housefires music group) Check out a song by her!

2. You DO NOT have to know how to finish to start, just start.

3. Do what you know to do now.

4. My friend shared with me earlier this year that: "I pray that God gives you clarity on His will for your life as you go along and that if He has already made (some) things clear, that you acknowledge them and run with them." This struck a chord with me because it's one thing to acknowledge God's will but its another to run with those things revealed. It can be daunting and thankfully our Father, God knows that and He says "FEAR NOT, I am with you..." (Isaiah 41:10)

Verses to encourage you:

- He is with you...Isaiah 41:10 : Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for your I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice. [Acts 18:10.] AMP

- He will instruct you...Psalm 32:8 : I [the Lord] will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.

- He will help you...John 14:26 : But the Comforter (Counsellor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you. AMP

- We are called to a life of believing...John 6:29 : Jesus replied, This is the work (service) that God asks of you: that you believe in the One Whom He has sent [that you cleave to, trust, rely on, and have faith in His Messenger]. AMP

When you were lost-without God-did you know you needed Him? You may have known you needed more in life but maybe you didn't know it was Him you craved. Well, you lived life unknowingly while God was in pursuit of you. He eventually got you in the right place at the right time, hearing someone speak about Him, sing about Him, seeing someone dance to praise Him and maybe this drew you to believe in Him. Colossians 2:6-7 says, "As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving." We need to walk confidently placing our faith in Jesus. I say, we, because I too need this constant reminder. He won't let us fall. He has us. As Joyce Meyer popularly says about her anxiety towards missing God: God told her that if she missed it, He would find her (my paraphrase).

He found you in the first place! He sent Jesus to die for you 2000 years ago when you didn't have an idea that you needed His sacrifice. Rest in His love for you and just do it. He won't let you fall. As Steffany Gretzinger sings in a spontaneous Bethel Music rendition of King of My Heart: 'He'll never let you fall, He can push you out of the nest and catch you too, YES!"

Happy Easter Beloved's. <3
