Let love weed out lies

"Why aren't you there yet?? What are you even doing?"
I whispered within, “Lord, those aren’t my thoughts, are they from you?”
“Nope,” He replied, “Neither mine nor yours honey.”
I briskly gasped, “the intruder.” Rolling my eyes I recognised the enemy
trying to make me feel bad for being myself.
For
— smiling,
— being friendly,
— asking questions,
— not saying Jesus Jesus Jesus in every thing I say
— communicating with people about exams with confidence.
“This whole time, I’ve felt like the bad guy for no reason. I felt like I wasn’t enough in simple hello, hi conversations and that people thought bad of me. I’ve felt like I need to be more spiritual in conversations, talk about Jesus more, make sure I credit Jesus in my conversations bleurgh bleurgh bleurgh,” I tell my Father.
"Be yourself, don’t put anything ill-fitting on yourself, don’t believe the lies the enemy tries to infuse in your beautiful mind. Allow my love for you to weed out untruth, most especially the ones that are subtly ‘Christian’ telling you to be more, do more, share me more," He responds.
I don't know about you but I’ve never heard of a friendship where one person pressures the other to speak about them, it just flows. Let it flow, just let it flow!
YOU ARE ENOUGH IN CHRIST, AND YOU ARE IN CHRIST 24/7, WHEN YOU FAIL, WHEN YOU SUCCEED, WHEN YOU E’RTHANGG, YOU ARE IN HIM.
'cause sharing is caring,
