DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?

I don’t know about you, but for me? Torrents of things try to tell me who I am everyday. Things, people and false thoughts I must add.
An example is a recent conversation I had with someone unassumingly about upcoming exams and their faces and responses led to suggestions that I am:
(Be prepared for the totally unreasonable world...)
Weird
Scared of men
Too bookyy
Not dressed as good as them
I could go onnnnn.
(May I add that the person was standing as they were in their previous conversation with someone - I walked past them talking - they had no particular facial expressions other than boredom on one’s face. To top it off, we ain’t even friends like that, so I wouldn’t even be thinking of their thoughts accurately *rolling my eyes*) Issues huh?
Before revelation on who I am in Christ
I would have rolled over their possible thoughts of me for a whileeeee. I would have walled myself up in a corner and accepted that people think I am all of the above when no one uttered a word and they probably had insecurities and fears of their own on their mind.
After revelation on who I am
I had the thoughts for brief seconds and quickly refocused on the fact that God loves me and I am so LOVEDDDDD. Why? Because GOD’s love is so unconditional! God thinks the world (understatement) of me! He delivered me from sin, sickness, lack of relationship with Him, basically a life spiralling downwards through the gift of Jesus and doesn’t love me based on my performance! Arghhhh! I am God’s workmanship! Where I err, He corrects me by His Spirit in me!

Romans 5:8 : are WORTH JESUS DEATH WHEN YOU DIDN’T HAVE ANYTHING TO OFFER
Romans 8:1 : are NOT CONDEMNED, YOU ARE IN CHRIST
2 Cor 5:17, 21 : are A NEW CREATION, RIGHTEOUS BY FAITH IN JESUS
Ephesians 2:10 : are GOD’S WORKMANSHIP, CREATED ANEW IN JESUS FOR GOOD WORKS…
Romans 5:1 : have PEACE WITH GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST
and importantly, Jer 17:10 : YOU ARE NOT THE ONE WHO KNOWS THE HEARTS OF MAN, GOD IS
Like the brief example I gave, you may have annoying thoughts about who you are NOT or even people verbally declaring who you are and should be. If these are not in line with the goodness God thinks of you, cast those lies down please.
2 Cor 10:4-5 says ‘For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to obedience of Christ,’
Like the weapon Jesus used against the devil’s attacks on His identity, use the truth of the Word of God!
When false thoughts come about you being unworthy, call out yourself as blameless and holy (Col 1:22)
