You Can't Stop Me by Andy Mineo gets me dancinggggg.
You can't be stopped! Actually you can...but the choice is yours. You are so powerful, you have the power to choose. You can choose life, joy, health and the right thoughts about yourself.
But, wait, do you get momentary thoughts like: "I'm not enough, I don't do anything right?"
This might be true if you didn't have a Saviour but because of Jesus, you are good enough. He made you righteous (You can stand boldly before God) (2 Cor 5:17, 21). He has overcome the devil who lies to you and makes you feel like you're worth nothing and like you can't amount to anything (1 John 4:4).
You are so powerful. Choose to believe you can do it, you can pass that exam, you can get up and put your faith in Jesus' gift of righteousness (ability to stand boldly before God) immediately after making mistakes, you can eat healthy, you can love yourself and others because you are so loved!
As Andy Mineo raps in this song, 'If I cannot stop me then you'll never stop me...' Yes, people may make you feel like less than enough and incapable but you decide what you do with those thoughts. Don't let it stop you! God loves you.
I totally get it, it's not as easy as this post makes it seem when you feel down. Trust me, I really do get it. BUT...you can do it. Get up, listen to this song, turn your eyes upon Jesus. Your life is so worth living. God wants you and you have purpose!!!
